In the Mangalore Open Karate Championship – 2019, organised by the Institute of Karate and Martial Arts – JSKA Karnataka, Students of Shakthi Residential School & Shakthi P.U.College Shakthinagar won laurels and accolades for their outstanding. performance, under the guidance of Sri Arjun Shetty of Dragon First Karate and Self Defence.
Nafieh Sheik Won Gold and Bronze in Kata and Kumite respectively. Chiranth NMK Won silver in Kumite, while Mehfuz Rumi also won silver in Kata. Nahshal won a Bronze Medal in Kumite and Tamim Rumi and Rijul won Bronze in Kata and Shakthi P.U.College Student Anjali Jogi won Gold and Bronze in Kumite and Kata.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಅ. 23: ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯುಕಾಲೇಜಿನ 7 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಾಮಂಜೂರಿನ ಸಂತರೈಮಂಡ್ಸ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಎಸ್‌ಕೆಎ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಮುಕ್ತ ಕರಾಟೆ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ 2019 ಕರಾಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಚಿನ್ನ, ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕವನ್ನು 6 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
ಶಕ್ತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ನಾಫಿ ಶೇಖ್‌ ಕಟ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಿಟೆ ಕರಾಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಚು, ಚಿರಂತ್‌ ಎನ್‌ ಎಮ್‌ ಕೆ ಕುಮಿಟೆ ಕರಾಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಮೆಹಫೂಝ್‌ರೂಮಿ ಕಟ ಕರಾಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ, ನೆಹಶಲ್‌ ಕುಮಿಟೆ ಕರಾಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚು, ತಮೀಮ್‌ ರೂಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಿಜುಲ್‌ ಕಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚು ಪಡೆದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯುಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಅಜಂಲಿ ಜೋಗಿ ಕುಮಿಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿನ್ನ, ಕಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚು ಪಡೆದು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಕೀರ್ತಿ ತಂದಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇವರನ್ನು ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ. ಶಕ್ತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಕಾಮತ್ ಜಿ. ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪ ಪೂ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್, ಕರಾಟೆ ತರಬೇತುದಾರ ಅರ್ಜುನ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
