Shakthi Residential School celebrated ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on July 26, 2023, to honor India’s triumphant war and pay tribute to the brave martyrs of Kargil, who exemplified courage and sacrifice while safeguarding the nation’s borders.
The program began with a warm welcome by Mr. Ravishankar Hegde, the Principal of Shakthi Residential School. Mr. Prakash Malpe, the esteemed founder of the Samvedana Foundation, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In his speech, he recalled the historic day in 1999 when India reclaimed the heights of Kargil from Pakistani infiltrators, successfully concluding the 60-day ‘Operation Vijay.’ He wholeheartedly applauded the Indian soldiers for their unwavering courage and determination in recapturing the Kargil outposts from the Pakistani forces. He also commended all the valiant men who fought against all odds and made supreme sacrifices to uphold the honor, pride, and integrity of the Nation, filling the Reshma Auditorium with a strong sense of patriotism.
Dr. K C Naik, the founder and administrator of the school, felicitated the esteemed guest. Mr. Ramesh K, the chief advisor, delivered an inspiring presidential speech, enlightening the students about the essence of patriotism as a vital social value. He emphasized how instilling this feeling at the school level ensures that students grow into responsible and devoted citizens of the nation, and how the memories of these selfless martyrs will forever live on in the heart of a grateful nation.
In his concluding speech, Mr. Sharanappa eloquently mentioned that the tales of valor from Kargil will continue to inspire generations of young Indians. The program culminated with the playing of the National Anthem, resonating with the profound sense of patriotism and respect for the nation.
ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ ದಿವಸದ ಆಚರಣೆ
ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಜು. 26 : ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ರೇಶ್ಮ ಮೆಮೊರಿಯಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯ ದಿವಸವನ್ನು ಇಂದು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಖ್ಯಾತ ವಾಗ್ಮಿಗಳು, ಸಂವೇದನಾ ಫೌಂಡೇಶನ್‌ನ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಮಲ್ಪೆ ಅವರು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಬಿದ್ದುದ್ದನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಮೃತ್ಯುಂಜಯ’. ಮನುಷ್ಯ ಜನ್ಮ ಪಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅಮರರಾಗಬೇಕು. ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಡಿ ಮಡಿದ ಸೈನಿಕರ ಕಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸತ್ತ ಮೇಲೂ ಹೆಸರುಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ದೇಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆ, ಭಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಸೈನಿಕರ ಸಾಹಸ ಗಾಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ಭಾರತದ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಕಾಣಬೇಕೆಂದರು. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯಿಂದ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದರೆ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇಶ ಕಾಯುವ ಸೈನಿಕರೆ ಕಾರಣ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾದ ರಮೇಶ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕಾಲಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶ ಪ್ರೇಮ ಕಣ್ಮರೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಓದಿರುವ ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾವಂತ ಯುವಕರು ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ದೇಶದ್ರೋಹಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಜನರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸುವ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇಂಥಹವರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ ಸೈನಿಕನ ಜೀವನ ಮಾದರಿ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಆಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಗಿಲ್ ವಿಜಯೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ರವಿಶಂಕರ್ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರು ಸರ್ವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಕನ್ನಡ ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕ ಶರಣಪ್ಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಗೀತೆ ಹಾಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.
