Independence Day is a reminder of the sacrifices of our valiant freedom fighters who stood up against the colonisers and even suffered harsh consequences unflinchingly, so that the later generations could breathe in free air. Slaving for 200 years and claiming back our country makes us marvel at the great leaders. Owing to the ongoing corona virus pandemic, Shakthi Residential School tried to ensure patriotism in the minds of the future citizens through various activities.
Tri-colour paper craft, tri-colour rangoli, Patriotic singing with the classmates and with the family members, elocution on the significance of the day and Independence Day quiz were some of the competitions conducted virtually to mark the celebration of 74th Indian Independence. Wonderful support was received from the parents and good response from the students.
