Shakthinagara: The Heads, Staff and Students of Shakthi Institutions felicitated the founder of the Institutions Sri K.C Naik on his receiving the Honorary Doctorate from Mangalore University. He was conferred the doctorate for his outstanding contributions in the field of education, culture and social service.
The Administrator of Shakthi Education Trust Baikady Janardana Achar delivered the felicitation address applauding many faceted service of Sri K.C Naik towards the society. Sri K.C Naik in reply to the felicitation said that he felt rewarded for the people of Mangalore joined their hands with him in all the activities in building a value based society. He said his dreams have been materialised on founding the temple and Shakthi Institutions along with other business concerns. He added that his responsibilities towards the society have been increased on getting the prestigious honorary doctorate from the University.
Mrs. Vidya Kamath G, the Principal of Shakthi Residential School welcomed the gathering. Prabhakara G.S, the Principal of the college proposed vote of thanks. The chief advisor of the Education Trust Sri Ramesh K, Mrs. Neema Saxena, the Co-ordinator of Shree Gopalakrishna Pre-school, Mr. Prakyath Rai the Institute Development officer were present on the occasion.

ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರ: ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪಿ.ಯು ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆ, ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪೂ. ಪ್ರಾ ಶಾಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಹಾಬಲೇಶ್ವರ ಪ್ರಮೋಟರ್‍ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಲ್ಡರ್‍ಸ್ ಮೊದಲಾದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕೇತರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟು ಸೇರಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಿಂದ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ಪಡೆದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ, ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯವು ತನ್ನ ೩೮ನೆಯ ಘಟಿಕೋತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್‌ನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಬೈಕಾಡಿ ಜನಾರ್ದನ ಆಚಾರ್ ಅಭಿನಂದನ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿ ನಾೖಕ್‌ ಅವರ ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆ, ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪರಿಚಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಶಾಲು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಹಣ್ಣು ಹಂಪಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಜೋಡಿ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ಮುನ್ನೆಡೆಸಿದ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನು ಸದಾ ಆಭಾರಿ ಎಂದು ಕೆ. ಸಿ. ನಾೖಕ್‌ ನುಡಿದರು. ದೇವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವ ನನ್ನ ಕನಸು ನನಸಾಗಿ ಜೀವನ ಸಾರ್ಥಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದವರು ನೀಡಿದ ಗೌರವ ಡಾಕ್ಟರೇಟ್ ನನ್ನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸನ್ಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿದರು.
ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಕಾಮತ್ ಜಿ. ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಚಾರ್ಯ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ ಜಿ.ಎಸ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಜ್ಯುಕೇಶನ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರ ರಮೇಶ ಕೆ, ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲಕೃಷ್ಣ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ನೀಮಾ ಸಕ್ಸೇನಾ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಕ್ಯಾತ್ ರೈ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಸ್ವಾತಿ ಭರತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಾವೇ ತಯಾರಿಸಿದ ಹೂಗುಚ್ಛಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಲಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ ಪಟ್ಟರು.
