Shakthi Residential School hosted a Teachers’ Development Program on Wednesday, 21 May, to mark the beginning of the new academic year. The 3 day event focused on equipping educators with innovative strategies to enhance classroom teaching and learning.
The program was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp by dignitaries including Sri Sanjeeth Naik (Secretary of Shakthi Education Trust), Sri Ramesh K. (Advisor, Shakthi Education Trust), and Smt. Babitha Suraj (Principal, Shakthi Residential School).
Sanjeeth Naik, addressed the gathering and emphasized the need for continuous teacher development in today’s dynamic educational landscape.
The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Loknath V. Reddy, a theatre practitioner and music educator, and Ms. Deepthi N. T, a creative drama facilitator and former mathematics professor. Both resource persons brought engaging and arts-integrated approaches to pedagogy, inspiring teachers to explore creative and learner-centric methods.
The interactive workshops saw enthusiastic participation from over 50 teaching staff from Pre primary, middle and high school sections making the program a meaningful and energizing start to the new academic year.
ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಯಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಬಿರ
ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಶಕ್ತಿನಗರ ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಯಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ 3 ದಿನಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಬಿರವು ಬುಧವಾರದಂದು ರೇಷ್ಮಾ ಮೆಮೋರಿಯಲ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳಾದ ಸಂಜೀತ್ ನಾೖಕ್ರವರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಾಲಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಇಂತಹ ತರಬೇತಿಗಳು ಅವಶ್ಯಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಇದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಂಗ ಭೂಮಿ ಕಲಾವಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಗೀತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ಆಗಿರುವ ಲೋಕನಾತ್ ವಿ. ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಚನಾತ್ಮಕ ನಾಟಕ ತರಬೇತಿದಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣಿತ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕಿ ಆಗಿರುವ ದೀಪ್ತಿ ಎನ್. ಟಿ. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಲಿಕಾ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಲೆಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸುವ ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರಾದ ರಮೇಶ್ ಕೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಶಕ್ತಿ ರೆಸಿಡೆನ್ಯಿಯಲ್ ಶಾಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆಯಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬಬಿತಾ ಸೂರಜ್ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ತರಬೇತಿ ಶಿಬಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯ 50 ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹೊಸ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಆರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತೇಜನಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಿತು.
