The Bharath Scouts and Guides, South conducted Taluk level Patriotic singing competition for the primary and High School students. In the Bulbuls category Hrthika S of Grade 2 won second place and in the Guides category Apeksha Kamath G has won third place and qualified for the District level.
In the painting competition on the Covid 19 effect, under the Scout category Dhanush of Grade 9 won First Prize and Ziyan Mohammed of Grade 7 won Second place at the Taluk level and will represent the School at the District level.

The District convenors of Rashtriya Sharana Sahithya, Dakshina Kannada District conducted an essay competition to commemorate the Vachana Day celebration on August 24th in two divisions. In the First division the High School students wrote on their favourite Vachana writer. In the second category that included the PUC, Degree students and the public, Human Values and its implementation through vachanas was the topic assigned.
Chinmayee Bhat of Grade 9 bagged First place with a cash prize and certificate, so also the second place was won by Amogh of Grade 9 of Shakthi Residential School.
Sri Sharanappa, Teacher in Kannada of our School bagged First Prize in the public category.
